Cory's father Larry, coaches a basketball team of special needs children, of which Corey is a member.

They won there Division and went on to win the Special Olympics State Tournament at David Lipscom University.

Their ambitions are to move up to the "A" division this year, and take on the big boys.

The council voted unanimously to donate $500 which is to be used for the purchase of uniforms and shoes for there team.
